Arduino | Soldering?

Suddenly, the professors brought a box of equipments that i have never seen before. Quite frankly, i was a little excited. I’m not the kind of person that would get freaked out easily! So they started by saying that we are going to practice soldering which basically means joining two metals together and using lead wire as the solder (to join the metals) by melting them.

IMG_8518(1)Joining groups of two – three we start to practice soldering on pieces of metal and we had to make sure to make a perfect pyramid and not twins or triplets (two pyramids joining forces and making one huge mountain). This was pretty fun, after a couple of practice i believe i have become the queen of soldering! 😀

Once we mastered the skill of soldering, we moved back to our Rainbowduino and started to solder a piece of metal to it that will allow us to connect wires and use the sensors for our animations!

HOMEWORK: come up with an animation the can relate to the sensor, plus figure out the coding.. this should be fun!
